University of Mary Washington - People for the Rights of Sexual Minorities
PRISM promotes visibility and education for gender and sexual minorities on the UMW campus. We provide a safe space where anyone in the community, GSM or ally, can come and meet like-minded people, learn about issues facing the community, and have a good time.
Meetings are on Mondays at 9 PM in the Red Room in Woodard Campus Center.

Deepest thanks. Thank you for your sacrifice, your time and your service.
To All Of The Gay/Lesbians/Bisexual Veterans:
Thank you for your sacrifice, your time and your service. Thank you for all you have done and the fight you have had to return home to after being elsewhere. Thank you for fighting for equality. Be true. Be proud.
We are happy and so proud that your voice can finally be heard out loud.
To All Of The Transgender/Trans* Veterans:
Thank you for your sacrifice, your time and your service. Thank you for all you have done and the fight you have had to return home to after being elsewhere. Thank you for fighting for equality. Be true. Be proud.
WE WILL CARRY YOUR VOICE and scream as loud as possible until it is safe to share your own voice with the same equality and recognition.
