University of Mary Washington - People for the Rights of Sexual Minorities
PRISM promotes visibility and education for gender and sexual minorities on the UMW campus. We provide a safe space where anyone in the community, GSM or ally, can come and meet like-minded people, learn about issues facing the community, and have a good time.
Meetings are on Mondays at 9 PM in the Red Room in Woodard Campus Center.

PRISM (People for the Rights of Individuals of Sexual Minorities) is Mary Washington’s Gay-Straight Alliance. Serving the GLBTTQQIAAP (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trangender, Transexual, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Ally, and Pansexual) communities of UMW, PRISM strives to create a comfortable, fun, and educational environment. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to join. All we ask is that you are open-minded and accepting of others’ lifestyles.
